ii. Process & Result
The first films were created for a learning initiative aimed at training election workers. With an overwhelming amount of dense, text-heavy material to cover, our task was to translate key information into a more elegant, approachable, visual format. The challenge was twofold: keep the message clear and accurate while injecting a human touch—making the content easier to absorb without sacrificing precision.

To acheive this I designed a gallery of characters that were believable, relatable and representative of the voting population in Norway to help guide through the films with an equal measure of charm, humour and personality.

Thanks to the success of these training films, we were commissioned to create a follow-up series aimed at the general public. These films communicated essential information about how to vote, when to vote, and what to expect—raising awareness while staying impartial and non-political. A key priority was ensuring accessibility: several of the public-facing films were produced without voice over, but with simple on-screen text that could be translated into multiple languages to reach immigrant communities and inform them of their right to vote in Norway.

In addition to the films, I also designed elements and assets for use across web, print, and social media—creating a consistent, flexible design system that helped unify the campaign across platforms.

From internal training to inclusive public outreach, this project was all about removing barriers to participation and using design to support democracy—clear, engaging, and accessible to all.
